SaunaPass ("we", "us") is a UK sauna and wild-swimming discovery app, available on the web at saunapass.co.uk and as an Android app. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account details — if you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) processes your email address and, for Google sign-in, your name and profile picture. You can browse without an account.
• Location — with your permission, your device location is used to show saunas and swim spots near you. Coordinates are sent to our server only to answer that search; we do not store a history of your locations.
• Content you create — saved places, ratings, reviews and reports you submit are stored against your account.
• Diagnostics — we use Sentry to collect crash reports and performance data so we can fix problems. These reports may include your IP address and device information.

Third-party services

Maps are provided by Mapbox, which receives the map tiles requests your device makes (including IP address). Venue data and photos come from Google and OpenStreetMap. Authentication is handled by Clerk. We do not show ads and we never sell your data.

Your choices

• Location permission is optional — you can search by area name instead.
• You can delete your reviews and saved places in the app at any time.
• To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below and we will action it within 30 days.
